Family of Victims of Florida State University Shooting Sue OpenAI, Accusing ChatGPT of Encouraging Crime
Two died and six were injured in the shooting at Florida State University. The wife of a victim sued OpenAI, claiming that ChatGPT interacted with the shooter multiple times in the months before the incident, and believes its inappropriate role exacerbated the tragedy.
